-I started class exactly one week ago today. Not at Rochester for the first time in 4 years and it felt really weird. I sort of feel like I'm in high school again, but again, I'm stuck in that strange transition between college and graduate school and I'm just going to have to suck it up.
-If you think full-time jobs are hard to find, part-time jobs are even harder. Actually, I have no idea but they are frustrating because you have to work around school schedules. I have a part-time job lined up that is right up my alley, but things about it are unclear right now, so I'm keeping my options open. For now, I'm working at a pool and babysitting, which is nice and easy and making me feel even more like a high schooler.
-Enough rambling/complaining. I made it to Boston the weekend before last to visit 2 of my best friends from high school It was SO GREAT to see them. The best thing about old friends is that even if we don't talk everyday, things are always the same when we get together. I find that so comforting. Also, Boston is beautiful. We walked around the whole city Saturday, and by whole city, I mean whole city, taking in all of the sights and scenes. I still have blisters from it but it was so fun and the weather was beautiful. I also finally was able to try Mary-Lou's coffee!!! After hearing Tina from Carrots n' cake rave about it so often I was dying to go. Ladies and gentlemen, it did not disappoint! I had to get a peanut butter delight and added a travel mug in there as well. How about opening a branch in Philly?
-Pretty Little Liars finale last week anyone? I won't give anything away but the betrAyal was no lie!! Can't wait till it comes back in October. (Also, title of this post should actually be called "Olivia is in high school"). I'm now really ready for fall tv shows to start up again- Homeland, I'm looking at you.
I leave you with this old school jam, Mcginn and I rediscovered on our Boston roadtrip. It may be cursed because we were listening to it when her tire got skinned and forced us to pull over and call AAA, but don't say you haven't been warned!
